An 8/4 Monk/Gloom Stalker build will probably be the strongest monk build in the game. Doubt that because Monk 10/fighter 2 would just be better like i said before. Ranger 5 for gloom/feat/extra attack, Rogue 4 for uncanny actions/thief/extra bonus action/feat, Fighter 2 for action surge and then Warlock 1 for hex/shield.
