LMT MRP ejection port / dust cover not covering. Going to put together my MRP Upper and I noticed there’s a huge gap between the ejection port and the dust cover. I’ve reached out to CS and they’re telling me they intentionally widen the ejection port to support 458. I think they cut a little too much off mine.

No sense in going 11.5 in MLC upper. I skidded 11.5 with LMT. 12.5" is a midlength gas system and obviously 1" longer barrel length than the 11.5" which is a carbine length gas system. Recoil perception can be tuned and has more to do with what buffer system you have matched to your gas system.

I'm running e-bolts in both, but had issues finding the FA e-carrier until LMT's BF sale. Rifles are both stock other than Geissele Airborne CHs on both and a Geissele SD-C trigger on the Shovelnose.
