After they reprogramed the vehicle as the recalled required, I got a dash notice "Start /Stop not ready Battery charging.The only side affect is that you'll see a "Stop/Start Disabled, Service Stop/Start" message at every startup for 3 seconds and the corresponding orange warning light thereafter.
