The Stat corruption mechanic will probably have a larger impact on regular combat than sorcery. The corrupted armor is absolutely cracked and not enough people use it. +50% to both damage stats and 1000 armor value. I have a clanmate who runs a corrupted build with the corrupted armor and he is incredibly hard to kill.The health penalty with corruption isn't that big of a deal but the stamina penalty is brutal. Even if you max out grit and agility and gear up for as much stamina as possible you barely have more than a noob character.
