I had an area of about 20 x 30 ft with a heavy growth of blackberry vines. I had tried for years to get rid of them, but nothing worked. About two years ago I bought this Crossbow product, I cut the vines back to about two feet high and sprayed them with Crossbow as directed mixing it a little stronger than their strongest recommendation. Crossbow takes 7-14 days to kill weeds. Roundup requires 7–14 days to kill plants and grasses down to the root. While both herbicides require time to work through the plant’s system to kill it completely, Crossbow can be a faster-acting alternative to Roundup.
