I lost my mucous plug in the week leading up to giving birth at 33 weeks. It's true that some women lose theirs and don't go into labor, but that was not the case for me. I'd recommend monitoring closely for contractions and if you are able to start timing them, head to L&D.Especially at your stage, as if you are in early labour at 27 weeks, there are things they can do to help, whereas at 15 weeks you're pretty buggered. Saying that, if you have no other symptoms, I would say it is unlikely that you are, but it is definitely worth getting checked that it doesn't look as if it's impending.
