Dog is a late game carry that needs time to scale so he's not great at solo runs but with 4 player where he can survive the early game it's easy to have the highest dmg dealt wether you are playing dual weild or grenade build. I would advise to stay away from the grenade build in coop tho, that build doesn't let others have fun. Nightmare isn't difficult on solo. Just more health on enemies.
