The two 22LR's are not checkered. The 22 magnum is checkered and marked 9422M.If there were only 500 produced, then these are a fairly rare variation of the 9422. These CDNN "TEX" case-colored 9422's were produced in 500 units EACH of 4 styles, "1TEXxxx" being the 20" 22LR, "2TEXxxx" the 20" 22Mag, "3TEXxxx" the Trapper 22lr, and finally "4TEXxxx" the Trapper 22Mag. I think that I bought a spring kit from Wolf Gun Spring Company or Brownells. It came with 3 different weight springs.
