A mob crusher. There's almost no limit (within reason) to the size of the the spawning area, the bigger it is the more essence and drops you'll get. Also, when killing the mobs produced by your mob duplicator, use another mob crusher and pipe the essence from it to the mob duplicator as well, or just place the mob duplicator inside the dark room.

The Mob Duplicator recreates a mob captured in a Mob Imprisonment Tool (a pokeball for all intents and purposes). It can be set to recreate a generic version of the mob, or the specific mob.
